Cleveland Springvale Ballroom Golfcourse Wedding | Merry + AJ

I may share a name with the groom, but that's not the only thing I have in common with this awesome couple! Bride Merry and I went to the same high school! When she asked me to come back to Ohio to photograph her wedding to AJ at Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom, I was thrilled. These two are absolutely hilarious apart, and so fun and laid back together. Merry & AJ's wedding day was a true reflection of the excitement they both felt about getting to marry their best friend.

I was so touched to see the role that both families played in the wedding day, from their siblings standing up as their best man and maid of honor, to the touching speeches and toasts from family members throughout the reception. Merry + AJ even brought the third member of their own little family, their labradoodle puppy, Zoey, for some photos after their ceremony. If we're being honest, pets at weddings might just be the best thing ever. Though I loved all of the gorgeous details sprinkled throughout their celebration, and could've photographed the bride and groom in the beautiful locations we found as we explored on golf carts forever, my favorite aspects of Merry & AJ's wedding were all the sweet moments in between. I loved the laughter while the girls were getting ready, the tears streaming down AJ's face as Merry walked down the aisle toward him, their joy at having just become husband and wife, and the pure silliness and fun their family and friends brought onto the dance floor and crammed into the photobooth.
