Chicago Theater on the Lake Wedding

Is there any Chicago wedding venue more epic than Theater on the Lake? Killer views of the Chicago skyline right along the shore of our gorgeous Lake Michigan, plus tons of space for a super fun wedding reception inside; this venue has it all! But Ben + Danielle’s Theater on the Lake wedding wasn’t just amazing because of their outdoor lakeside ceremony, or their energetic dance floor- it was all in the details.

From the stunning, colorful florals from Flowers for Dreams (including a gorgeous, flower-adorned chuppah) to the array of sweets from local favorites Jeni’s Ice Creams and Bang Bang Pies, Ben + Danielle thought of everything to make their wedding day uniquely them and a total blast for their guests. This theater-world couple is as creative, colorful and fun as they are thoughtful, kind and hilarious, and every aspect of that shone through in the ways they planned their beautiful summer wedding day at Theater on the Lake.

The highlight? Instead of a first dance, Danielle + Ben surprised their guests with a rendition of Meat Loaf’s “I'd Do Anything For Love.” And yes, it was amazing. Photos of that epic performance and so much more below:
