Salvage One Wedding | Leigh Anne + Chad

SalvageOneWeddingChicago_0058.JPG

There was love, there was glitter, there was confetti: Leigh Anne + Chad’s Salvage One Wedding had it all.

Before photographing weddings was temporarily put on hold due to…well, you know….I got to photograph an incredibly fun and special wedding day at Salvage One. From their killer style (Leigh Anne rocked a sparkly wedding cape (more wedding capes, please) and a chic modern gown from BHLDN paired with sparkly pink shoes and a pink bouquet to match) to surprises laced throughout the day (awesome first dance choreography, and rainbow confetti at the end of their ceremony, to name a few), these two did their wedding day their way.  Leigh Anne even changed into her mom’s sparkly vintage dress, gifted to her years ago, as a fun surprise for both her parents (check out mom’s reaction!) and later for guests. No wedding parties, tons of time for portraits of the two of them all over downtown Chicago and at their amazing, eclectic venue, Salvage One, and lots of moments for keeping what was most important at the forefront : their love, their families, and the life they’ve built together.

In such a crazy time in our world and our city, I’m so grateful that this joyous, sparkly, and straight up FUN day was the last one I photographed before our lives were put on pause. I loved spending the day with these two all over Chicago and for their Salvage One wedding, and I’m so excited to share these photos, and I hope they bring a little joy, confetti and glitter to your world, too:

Leigh Anne + Chad, you are absolute dreams. I’m so grateful you chose me to spend the day by your side!
