Yay! You’re engaged and officially wedding planning. Now that the champagne has been popped and your instagram is poppin’, it’s time to buckle down and start wedding planning. But where to start? This can be overwhelming and stressful, but lucky for you, you’ve got me. I’ve divided most of the must-do tasks into bite-size chunks with time periods that you should be FINISHING these tasks listed to the right. Set these time markers as deadlines for the tasks next to them, and you’ll be killing the wedding planning game in no time. ❏ Write your vows
❏ Review ceremony details with officiant
❏ Finalize seating arrangements
❏ Apply for marriage license
❏ Purchase/assemble guest girfts
❏ Make/order wedding programs
❏ Finalize any fittings needed for wedding party
❏ Create wedding day timelines with your planner/photographer and send it to your wedding party, family members, vendors and officiant
❏ Decide on “something old, something new, something borrowed & something blue” if you’re doing
❏ Book spa and beauty treatments for yourself and your most calming bff

Months


❏ Final fittings
❏ Pick up marriage license
❏ Contact vendors to confirm date, time, location & details
❏ Confirm honeymoon reservations
❏ Pick up wedding rings
❏ Write thank you notes as gifts are received
❏ Follow up with any outstanding RSVPs
❏ Get final payments in to anyone who requires 30 days (that’s me!)
❏ Fill out your wedding planning questionairre if you haven’t already, and lock down a final schedule and portrait list with me for your wedding day.

1 month


❏ Break in your wedding shoes. Wear them around the house every day
❏ Make arrangements for care of your pets on your wedding night, and care of pets and plants on your honeymoon
❏ Get a haircut and freshen up color
❏ Give your final guest count to your caterer
❏ Update registries
❏ Send directions to the driver for wedding day transportation
❏ Delegate someone to return tuxes, rentals & tend to wedding dress(es) after the wedding

2 weeks


❏ Prepare your wedding day emergency kit
❏ Give readers their scripts
❏ Prepare final payments to vendors [like hair and makeup] as well as cash tips in individual envelopes
❏ Lay out wedding clothes and gather all accessories
❏ Drink a ton of water all week. Your skin and hangover[s] will thank you.

1 Week


❏ Treat yourself to a massage and a mani/pedi
❏ Attend your rehearsal
❏ Have a blast at your rehearsal dinner
❏ Thank everyone around you
❏ Go to bed at a decent hour
❏ Drink lots of water.
